A GIFT WITH A PURPOSE - This handmade gift card pouch is a unique way to give a gift and a reusable pouch to carry essentials (credit cards, cash, etc.) along with your key fob. More importantly, it is a fundraiser to support a good cause. In support of Love Over Limits, a movement started by a brave young woman with an undiagnosed debilitating illness, each pouch sold will help to bring joy to a hospital patient during the Christmas hospital season.

Last December when Kaija got admitted to the hospital in Los Angeles (far from home in Charlotte, NC) she spent the whole Christmas season there. In one of the updates for family and friends, her mom wrote:
“Hospital stays during Holiday season can be quite depressing. Christmas cheer not always reaches the rooms of the patients. The other day when I stepped out to get some coffee from the cafeteria the hospital lobby was so beautifully decorated, but not all the patients can enjoy that beauty. It truly felt like a different world out there. But acts of simple kindness help Christmas Magic happen - one of the sweetest doctors on Kaija’s team brought few decorations for Kaija’s room this morning. And let me tell you, a simple string of lights changes the whole atmosphere and lifts the spirit not only for us but for everyone who enters the room. Light has such power! (John 8:12)”
Now Kaija is sharing Love Over her Limits by collecting lights to give to those in the hospital at Christmas time. Despite her difficult circumstances, she is determined to pay it forward.
